CCOT Golf Tournament, 2026 - 2027
17th Edition CCOT Charity Golf Tournament – A Celebration of Sport, Service & Fellowship:
The 17th Edition of the CCOT Charity Golf Tournament was a memorable celebration of sport, camaraderie and the spirit of giving, bringing together Golfers, Sponsors, Well-wishers and Friends of CCOT for an event filled with energy and enthusiasm.
The journey towards the tournament began 3 months in advance and on the 5th of August the CCOT Committee Members came together to pack the goodie bags and tournament kits for the participants. With great teamwork and attention to detail, every package was carefully prepared, setting the stage for the much-awaited event.
D-Day 7th August 2026 Bangalore Golf Club:
The day began bright and early, with registrations for the first session opening at 5:30 a.m., with players collecting their scorecards and complimentary t-shirts, and enjoying a refreshing round of tea, coffee, and biscuits. An encouraging introductory speech and briefing was done by Mr. Jude Lobo before the morning tee-off commenced with great energy and competitive spirit. At 9:00 a.m., a hearty and scrumptious breakfast was served to both players and their caddies, fueling them for the remainder of the session. After a fulfilling meal, participants returned to the greens to continue their game with rain accompanying the golfers. Upon completion, they submitted their scorecards and were presented with thoughtfully curated goodie bags followed by chilled beer with light snacks.
The second session saw registrations commence at 11:00 a.m., with the afternoon tee-off at 12:30 p.m. The Afternoon Session mirrored the enthusiasm and organization of the morning session. The fresh batch of players along with caddies were served a well curated lunch.
The caddy goodie bags were handed to all caddies at the end of the Afternoon session.
The weather added its own challenge to the day, with rain accompanying the golfers on the course in both sessions. However, the showers did little to dampen the enthusiasm. Players displayed tremendous spirit, determination and sportsmanship, taking on the wet conditions with smiles and an unwavering commitment to the cause.
Gala for a Cause:
The day’s sporting excitement culminated in a wonderful Gala Evening hosted by Catholic Club at 7:30 p.m. It was a fitting finale to an action-packed day and provided an opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate the success of the tournament and acknowledge the generous support behind the initiative.
The evening featured the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the winners and outstanding performers of the tournament were recognised and felicitated. The celebrations continued with cocktails, music and dinner, creating a warm and lively atmosphere filled with friendship, laughter and fellowship.
